Of immediate concern to NGO personnel in the Home Zone is a scheduled suspension of gas supply by the Sui Southern Gas Company affecting all blocks of a residential district this weekend. Personnel should ensure backup energy and food preparation arrangements are in place. Public health monitoring is required in the Home Zone following the confirmation of Karachi's ninth mpox case, identified in a 40-year-old resident of a residential district.
