Nationally, the political and social environment remains tense following the recovery of GBAO Governor Alisher Mirzonabot's body from the Panj River after a fatal vehicle crash. Religious scrutiny also continues unabated, demonstrated by the revocation of a Tajik national's Russian citizenship for unauthorized missionary work, reinforcing the severe risks associated with unregistered religious activities.
